Valve Mastering
At the heart of Eve Mastering is the iconic Kingswood Warren vertical valve modular mixer. Originally custom-designed by the BBC Research & Development department for their Kingswood Warren research facility in Surrey, this one-of-a-kind device imparts a sonic character unlike anything else in the world.

What it does — and how — remains somewhat of a mystery. However, when combined with state-of-the-art digital processing, the results are consistently breathtaking. In other words, we fuse the warmth and depth of vintage analogue with the precision and clarity of modern signal processing to deliver the best of both worlds.
Experience is key
Moreover, Eve Mastering is led by Jim Spencer, who brings over 30 years of industry experience. Throughout his career, Jim has sculpted the sound of influential artists such as New Order, Electronic, The Charlatans, and Chloe Foy, among many others.

Jim masters with a production ear — not only considering the material as a whole, but also how it unfolds across the timeline. For instance, he may apply a different treatment to the chorus than to the verse, if necessary. This attention to detail ensures a dynamic and emotionally resonant final product.
