Valve Mastering
At the heart of Eve Mastering is the ‘Kingswood Warren’ vertical valve modular mixer. Originally custom designed by the BBC Research & Design department for their Kingswood Warren research facility in Surrey, The Kingswood Warren brings a quality to mastered music which is literally like nothing else in the world. Quite what it does and how it does it is something of an enigma, but the results are astonishing! Used in conjunction with state of the art digital processing, we offer the best of analogue combined with contemporary signal processing.
Experience is key
Head of mastering Jim Spencer brings over 25 years experience to Eve Mastering. During that time he has sculpted the sound for artists such as New Order, Electronic, The Charlatans and The Cribs amongst many others.
We will provide you with fully optimised 16/24 bit masters up to 96Khz. If requested, we will also provide DDP masters for CD duplication. These contain all metadata and ISRC codes embedded on request.
Eve Mastering is a standalone audio mastering service based at Eve Studios in Greater Manchester, UK.
